About our auction items

We have a selection of shirts and kit worn by first team players throughout the season. Each auction listing will mention in the description:

• The player who has worn the item
• The competition / fixture in which the item was worn
• If the item is signed
• If the item has been washed

Each item is supplied in a presentation box with a certificate of authenticity - and as you are buying direct from the club, you can be confident that you are purchasing a genuine player worn item. 

A percentage of the proceeds from each auction will be donated to the Cherries Community Fund.

New items will be added to Matchworn on a regular basis, so please ensure that you are signed up to receive updates on fresh auctions!

1: Check out our latest auctions

Take a look at all of our current auctions. Each listing will mention the length of time remaining in the auction, and the current highest bid.

2: Create an account / login

You will only be able to place a bid if you have an account. This is a quick and easy process - and you can create an account here.

Please note that this will be a separate account to the ticketing and Superstore accounts you may have, so will require a new account to be set up.

3: Place a bid

All bids require the user to be at least 18 years of age. Once a bid has been placed, it cannot be revoked.

On each auction item, you'll see the current highest bid, along with the remaining time before the end of the auction.

If you wish to place a bid, please enter the amount in the box - in £5 increments.  Ensure that you are happy with the bid amount you are placing, and then click the BID button. 

4: Automatic bids

If you don't want to enter your maximum bid in the bid box, you can place an automatic bid. This should be the highest amount you are willing to pay for the item, but the bid will only be increased when another user has made a bid for the item.

5: If you are outbid

Once you've placed your bid, keep a close eye on your inbox. If you are outbid for an item, you will receive an e-mail to let you know. If this happens, you can place a higher bid for the item if you wish.

6: If you're the highest bidder

If you win an auction, Congratulations! Once the auction has finished, you will receive a message, along with a link to be able to pay for the item.

Successful bidders will receive confirmation, and an invoice shortly after the end of the auction.

You will then have 48 hours after receiving the invoice to pay for auctioned item(s). If payment is not made within 48 hours, the item will either be re-auctioned, or offered to the next highest bidder.

VAT is included in the final price of all auctions. Auction winners outside the UK are exempt from VAT, and this will be deducted at the point of payment.

7: Receive your shirt

Once we have received your payment, we will pack and despatch your item and send it via Royal Mail. This is an insured service, and someone will need to be present at the delivery address to sign for the package.

Unfortunately, we are unable to accept returns on auctioned items.
